Shipping and Delivery

We strive to make sure each order is sent as quickly as possible, usually within 1 to 2 business days.

We dispatch orders on weekdays only.

Please make sure that the shipping address is correct as we’re unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you.

All our orders are sent via Royal Mail.

UK Mainland Shipping

We deliver as standard by Royal Mail 2nd Class within the United Kingdom (free postage) and offer the option of 1st Class upgrade at checkout.

We aim to ensure that domestic orders (within the United Kingdom only) arrive within 2 – 3 business days. However, we cannot guarantee delivery times and we are not responsible for any delays due to Royal Mail delivery problems.

International Shipping

International orders are sent by Royal Mail (International Standard) only.

Royal Mail aim to deliver to Europe in 3 to 5 working days and to the rest of the world in 6 to 7 working days.

Please note that these delivery times are estimates given by Royal Mail and therefore may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed.

Will I be charged customs for my order?

Additional customs and tax fees can occur on international orders. Customs policies vary widely for every country, so please check which rules apply regarding duties and taxes that may be applicable to your purchase.

It is the customers responsibility to pay any import duties and taxes which might be applied to the order at customs. We will not be responsible for any customs and duties charged to a customer for import.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We use Paypal and Stripe to accept major credit cards such as Paypal, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Paypal Credit and Discover. You can use Paypal to pay with your debit/ credit card (even if you do not have a Paypal account), or you can pay using your Paypal account (if you already have one).

Alternatively you can choose to pay via Stripe (the choice is available to the customer during checkout).

All customer payments are processed securely online through Paypal or Stripe. Whether you are using a debit or credit card, you can be assured that your personal details are safe.

Do you sell Gift Cards/Vouchers?

We do not currently sell Gift Cards or Vouchers, however, we do occasionally provide Coupon Codes that can be used during our Checkout process to offer discounts. The Coupon Codes are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Full details regarding use and expiration dates are included in the Coupon Code email.

Returns and Exchanges

We are sure that you will be 100% satisfied with your Strong Cotton Bags purchase. However, we appreciate that occasionally problems can occur. If we made a mistake with your order, or if the item arrived defective (such as problems occurring during transit), then please let us know by email (within 48 hours of delivery confirmation), that you are requesting a Return or Exchange, and we will put things right.

Items in new condition (unused) can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery confirmation. We require that you contact us by email within 48 hours of delivery confirmation to advise us that you are requesting a return/ exchange.

Item condition to be eligible for refund

Please note that any product that has been damaged, is not in its original packaging, or has packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product, will not be refunded.

Original postage charges

Please also note that we offer a full refund on the item(s) purchased and we do not refund the original Royal Mail shipping charges.

Sale Items

Please note that we do not refund items that are offered at a reduced price in a Sale.

Refund procedure

The customer is responsible for returning the purchased items (including any original packaging) at their own cost.

To return or exchange an item please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact us by email, within 48 hours of delivery confirmation, to advise us that you are requesting a return/ exchange.
  2. Please mail your item for return (including any original packaging) to the address in your returns email. We ask that you include a copy of the original packing slip or confirmation email from your order.
  3. Once your return is received and checked (as stated above, the item must be new and unused and include the original packaging), your new item(s) will be shipped out to you at no additional cost or we will issue your refund (excluding original Royal Mail delivery charges) as requested.

When will the refund be issued?

If you have requested a refund, rather than an exchange, then this refund will be credited to your original payment method within 10 days of us receiving the returned goods (new and unused, with the original packaging as detailed above). Please note some banks may take longer to credit your account. We are not liable and cannot take any responsibility for any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process. Please note that the original postage charge is not refunded.
